Sea Thrift - Splendins

It is best planted in sandy soils in full sun. The Splendins 'Sea Thrift', Armeria maritima, has wonderful pink flowers that contrast well with its dark evergreen, tufted foliage. 'Sea Thrift' is an excellent plant for use in rock gardens or edging. This plant is very floriferous in spring and early summer. Geranium - Bertie Crug super hardy geranium noted for it's beautiful foliage that is deep green with bronze highlights, turning a wonderful cherry red with cool fall weather. This Geranium, Bertie Crug, is only 4" tall and is a spreader (though not viciously so - only to a couple of feet in width). Try this Geranium scrambling over a rock wall or along a garden path - Spectacular!. The Geranium 'Bertie Crug' is a lovely, easy to grow little perennial Geranium with chocolate leaves and pink flowers. Blooms all summer and creates a delightful carpet of color. It bears delightful cheery pink flowers heavily in spring and sporadically throughout the growing season. It may bloom heavily again in fall if the foliage is sheared after the first bloom.
